1. Classic Rally
This is for slot car RTR models of Rally cars produced prior to 1980.
Typically cars in this class include (but not limited to) the following
–
AutoArt, Scalextric, Ninco, SCX, Fly, Revell, GOM, Powerslot, Pink Kar,
Hobby Classic, Reprotec, Spirit and Team Slot.
Renault Dauphine, Alpine 110, 8, Alfa Sprint GTA, GTV, Gulia, Austin
Healey, BMW 2002, Jag XK120, Porsche 356, 904,
Ferrari 166, 250 GTO, 365, AC cobra, Mini, Escort MK1, MK2, Fiesta MK1,

2. 80’s Rally
This is for slot car RTR models of Rally Cars produced from 1980 – 1989,
Typically cars in this class include (but not limited to) the following

Audi Quattro, BMW M1, M3, Ferrari 288GTO, Ford Escort XR3i, XR2i, RS200,

Delta S4, Delta Intergrali, MG Maestro, Metro, 6R4, Renault 5, Rover 3500,
Porsche 959 and Ninco Porsche 911SC/934 Opel Manta.

3.Modern 4x4 Rally
This is for slot car RTR models of 4x4 (4 wheel drive) Rally Cars produced
from 1989 onwards typically from the WRC
Typically cars in this class include (but not limited to) the following
–
Scalextric, Ninco, SCX, Team Slot, Cartrix, AutoArt
Subaru Imprezza, Mitsubishi Lancer, Peugeot 206, 307, Ford Focus, Escort
Cosworth, Toyota Corrolla, Celica GT4, Seat
Cordoba, Hyundai Accent, Skoda Octavia, Fabia, Citroen Xsara, C4.
FOR Clarity – Ninco Standard Cars (black chassis – Inline) will be in
Modern class – see supplementary regs regarding Ninco.

4. Modern 2WD (two wheel drive)
This is for slot car 2 wheel drive RTR models of Rally Cars produced from
1989 typically from the IRC, JWRC, S1600.
Typically cars in this class include (but not limited to) the following
–
Scalextric, Fly, Ninco, SCX, Sloter and Powerslot.
Citroen Saxo , C2, Renault Clio, Megane, Fiat Punto, Ford Fiesta, VW
Polo, Golf, Peugeot 306, Seat Ibiza, Opel Corsa, and Suzuki Swift.

5. Pro Stock Rally
This is for slot car RTR models of Rally Cars that have Pro spec chassis,
running gear and such They are manufacturer rather than real car specific.
Many have drop arm guides.
Typically cars in this class include (but not limited to) the following
–
MSC – MG 6R4, Ford RS200, Subaru WRC’97, Porsche 959, Spirit – Peugeot
205, Renault 5,
Avant Slot – Peugeot 207, Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Evo, Renault Alpine
A310
FLY – All Racer spec Rally Cars – Porsche 911
GOM – Toyota Celica with GOM universal Chassis
Ninco – Pro Race (angle winder/clear chassis)
SCX – Pro Spec cars
NSR – All NSR rally Cars (with the exception of the GT Rally cars)
Sloter – Opel Manta

6. Modified Class
This is an anything goes class, where you can basically run whatever you
like with modifications within the rules. Scratch built
cars can also go in this class including those with brass chassis. It
is also the class for all Rally GT cars like; Ferrari 360, Porsche 997,
Lamborghini Gallardo, Nissan 350Z, Lotus Exige.
Ninco in Pro-Stock
For the benefit of marshaling at events please see below details of Ninco
Pro cars that must go into the ‘PRO-STOCK’ Class for SlotrallyGB 2012;
The Ninco range of cars contains a number of cars/liveries that fall between
classes this sheet helps to confirm more accurately the class that Ninco
Pro-Race cars
should be in. Part of the problem is that Ninco have released various
different types of car over the years some called Pro-Race, Pro-Spec and
other the same spec but
not called the same there are even cars with the same livery but different
specs.
So the following will be in Pro-Stock;
Ninco 50322 – Subaru WRC 2003 – Super Racing Ninco 50357 – Subaru New
Zealand 2004 Ninco 50358 – Peugeot 307 Monte 2004
Ninco 50401 – Mitsubishi Lancer Catalyna Ninco 50344 - Impreza Pro Race
Imola Ninco 50328 - Impreza Pro Race No 8 New Zealand.
Plus any car that has any of the following; Pro race Clear Chassis Pro
Race Aluminum/Magnesium Alloy hubs Any car that comes with an NC6 Motor
Any car with Ball race bearings Any car with twin belt drive Any car with
Pro-Race white body shells
Every other Ninco car is in Modern.
